Lorsch recognized by Directorship magazine: HBS professor lauded for ‘influence over corporate governance’
CAMBRIDGE (Nov. 12) — Jay Lorsch, the Louis E. Kirstein Professor of Human Relations at Harvard Business School (HBS), has been named to the Directorship magazine Corporate Governance Hall of Fame, which recognizes “the outstanding achievements of those select individuals who have had an everlasting influence over corporate governance and the boardroom community.”

Hawaii needs to turn around its bad business reputation
HONOLULU (June 22) — Hawaii is accustomed to poor ratings as a place to conduct business, and two magazines aimed at corporate executives agree this year that its bad reputation is secure. The state is hardly in a position to improve its standing during the current recession but needs to look ahead for ways to improve its ability to lure business and broaden its economic base when the nation recovers.
