AOL Appoints Time Warner’s Minson as CFO

Arthur Minson is the new CFO of AOL before its long awaited spinoff.

Former deputy CFO at Time Warner Cable, Arthur Minson, has been appointed CFO of AOL ahead of the spinoff from Time Warner later this year. AOL CEO Tim Armstrong added that he has confidence in Minson. “Artie has strong knowledge of the Internet, distribution, AOL, and spinoffs but I was looking long term for operational leadership from our CFO,” Armstrong said. The AOL spinoff is expected to be completed by the end of the year after the regulatory and legal process is completed. Minson replaces Nisha Kumar, who held the job for two years before leaving the company earlier this summer.
