Congressman Barney Frank has represented the 4th District of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since he was first elected in 1981. He serves as chairman of the Financial Services Committee. Prior to Congress, he was a Massachusetts state representative and an assistant to the Mayor of Boston. He has also taught at several Boston area universities. Congressman Frank has twice been named to The Directorship 100, the annual listing of the most influential people in corporate governance.
