
Russell Miller is founder and managing director of ClearBridge Compensation Group, which specializes in executive compensation consulting. Miller brings to ClearBridge over twenty years of experience advising boards and senior management on performance measurement and compensation strategy and design, with the ultimate goal of aligning reward programs with the creation of shareholder value.
Prior to founding ClearBridge, Miller was the managing director of Korn/Ferry’s Executive Compensation Advisors, where he joined from Mercer Consulting as a principal in the New York office. Prior to that, he was the senior partner of the New York office of SCA Consulting, which was acquired by Mercer in 2001.
Miller is a frequent speaker on compensation and performance measurement issues. He has presented for The Conference Board, NASPP and WorldatWork as well as many local and regional compensation and human resource organizations. In addition, he is frequently quoted in major press such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and BusinessWeek, and has been featured on CNBC and Bloomberg TV.
