Barnes & Noble named Dan Gilbert as executive vice president, operations and customer service. Gilbert was vice president of customer operations at Cisco Systems.
Michael Chertoff was appointed to the board of directors at BAE Systems. Chertoff served as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2005 to 2009.
Executive vice president of Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Ted W. Love, joined Bio-Rad’s board of directors. He will serve on the board’s audit committee.
