Coca-Cola Enterprises was recognized for good reporting of its corporate governance skills last week, receiving the 2007 Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Social Responsibility by the World Council for Corporate Governance and the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence.
The report, entitled “Continuing our Journey,” was chosen because of its good report structure, guidelines, content and communication. The company was elected by a distinguished jury chaired by former Prime Minister of Canada Joe Clark, who selected Coca-Cola from more than 100 global companies nominated.
