New Board Members Named at Bristol-Meyer Squibb, Good Year, and More...

Bristol-Meyers Squibb has named Alan J. Lacy, a senior advisor to Oak Hill Capital Partners L.P., to its board of directors.  He will serve as a member of the audit committee.

 

From 1994 to 2006, Lacy was employed by Sears, Roebuck and Co., and following the acquisition of the company, Sears Holdings Corp.  He held executive positions of increasing responsibility in finance and operations, including his service as CEO from 200 to 2005.

GoodYear Tire & Rubber Co. has named James A. Firestone, president of Xerox North America, to its board.

 

Firestone, executive vice president of Xerox Corp., has led the company’s North American operations since 2004.  He has also served as head of Xerox’s channels group and was the company’s chief strategy officer.  Previously, he worked for IBM Corporation as general manager of the consumer division and for the Ameritech Corporation as president of consumer services.

MSC Software Corp. has named Robert A. Schriesheim to the company’s board.  Schriesheim, currently executive vice president, CFO and director at Lawson Software, has previous experience as a general partner for ARCH Development Partners, a seed stage venture capital fund.  Prior to that, he was executive vice president of corporate development and CFO of Global Telesystems.

GMAC Financial Services named former treasurer Samuel Ramsey to the newly created position of chief risk officer, effective immediately.  In the role, Ramsey will hold responsibility for global risk management and treasury activities including funding and balance sheet management.

 

Meanwhile, David Walker, GMAC group vice president of global borrowings, has been named the company’s treasurer, a role in which he holds responsibility for global funding activities and reports to Ramsey.

F&C Asset Management has appointed George Dallas, head of governance services at Standard & Poor’s.

 

Dallas, who has served in a number of senior roles at S&P, including head of emerging markets, European chief of the ratings service and head of the group’s office in London, will be reporting to Karina Litvack, head of governance and sustainable investment at S&P.
