Dick’s Sporting Goods has announced that President and COO William J. Colombo was named vice chairman.
Colombo’s responsibilities as presidentand COO are to be assumed by a group of executives: Joseph M. Schmidt,executive vice president of operations; Timothy E. Kullman, EVP of finance andadministration and chief financial officer; and Edward W. Stack, chairman andchief executive.
A statement released by the company today didn’t elaborate on the move.
