New Appointments at Heelys, Sempra Energy, New Cardio, More...

Heelys has named Jerry R. Edwards to its board of directors.

 

Edwards, former president and CEO of Pearl Izumi, will also serve on the board's audit committee. He brings more than 25 years experience managing apparel and information technology operations. Currently, he is managing director of Great Circle Ventures LLC, and is a former U.S. Air Force captain and a receipient of the Edleman Award from The Institute of Management Science

Lynn Schneck has been nammed to Sempra Energy's board.

 

Currently an attorney in private practice, Schneck brings experience in public service as a former U.S. congresswoman, California's secretary of business, transportation, and housing, and as chief of staff to former California Gov. Gray Davis.

NewCardio Inc. has named Patrick Maguire to its board.

 

Maguire has servd as president and CEO of CyberHeart Inc. since 2006, and was previously vice president of medical affairs and technology development at VitaGen Inc.

 

"Adding modern technology to the proven ECG tool is an exciting opportunity, and one that holds both scientific and business promise," Maguire said in a statement. "I am excited to join the NewCardio team, and I look forward to working with NewCardios senior management to advance this novel technology."

Weight Watchers has announced that Kim Roy has been elected to the company’s board.

 

Roy, who will also serve on the board’s audit committee, previously served as the president of Lauren Womenswear of the Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. Prior to that, she was president of Ann Taylor Stores and Liz Claiborne.

DSW has named Elaine J. Eisenman, Joanna T. Lau, and Roger S. Markfield to its board.

 

Eisenman currently serves as dean of Babson Executive Education at Babson College, and has held senior executive positions at American Express, Enhance Financial Services, The Children’s Place, and PDI International.
