Prince Joins Xerox Board

Xerox elected Charles Prince to its board. Prince is the former chairman and CEO of Citigroup. Prince was appointed CEO of Citigroup in 2003 and remained at that position until he retired in the midst of the mortgage-debt crisis.

Virgin Media appointed three new members to its board. James A. Chiddix has been in the cable industry for more than 35 years and sits on the board of OpenTV. He is vice-chairman of OpenTV and Vyyo. His innovations led to video on demand, cable modems, and digital set-top boxes. Andrew Cole has been chief marketing officer and senior vice preside at Asurion, a leading handset insurance company since 2007. Steven J. Simmons is founder, chairman, and CEO of Simmons/Patriot Media & Communications. He is also chairman of PPR Media.

H&R Block elected Christianna Wood to its board of directors. Wood is CEO of Capital Z Asset Management. Prior to her position at Cap Z, Wood was the senior investment officer for the global equity unit of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) for five years.

Vodafone elected Michael Walker to its board. Walker is the group research and development director for Vodafone group.

Clearly Canadian Brands appointed Samantha Alfonzo, a mergers and acquisitions specialist, to its board. Alfonzo is currently legal counsel for a Bermuda-based group in Ontario, Canada.
