Staples, Inc. named Elizabeth A. Smith to its board. Smith is the president of Avon Products, Inc. Before working at Avon, Smith served as group vice president of Kraft Foods, Inc. for 14 years.

AxisPointe, Inc. named Greg Butterfield to its board. Butterfield is managing partner of SageCreek Partners, a network of technology company executives. Before working at SageCreek, Butterfield was group president at Symantec and CEO of Altiris.

ZVUE Corporation named John Durham to its board of directors. Durham previously served as President of Sales & Marketing for Jumpstart Automotive Media and was the president and founder of Pericles Consulting. Durham has replaced Bob Austrian on the board.

iFinix Corp. named Kevin Henlon to its board. Henlon is a former senior auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. iFinix plans to announce a further addition to its board later in the week.

Duff & Phelps named William Hannigan to its board of directors. Hannigan is former president and COO of AT&T. Hannigan’s resume also includes time spent as chairman and CEO of Sabre Holdings.

Fortress Technologies named Kevin Carroll to the company board of directors. Carroll was the program executive officer for the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office Enterprise Information System. Carroll has served in various capacities within the Department of Defense.
