New Board Members Named at McAfee, Exxon Mobil, More...

Carl Bass and Thomas Darcy were named to McAfee’s board of directors.

 

Bass, president and CEO of Autodesk, currently serves on that company’s board, as well as on the board of iRise. Darcy, former executive vice president for strategic projects at Science Applications International (SAIC), was also CFO of the company for more than five years. He currently sits on the board of the college of business administration at San Diego State University, where he is also on the board of advisors to the school of accountancy.

Exxon Mobil named Larry R. Faulkner, president emeritus of the University of Texas at Austin, to its board.

 

Faulkner is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and currently serves as a chair of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel by designation of the president and secretary of education. He also serves on the boards of Temple-Inland and Guaranty Financial Group.

World Wrestling Entertainment COO Michael Sileck was named to the board of Switch and Data Facilities, an internet exchange and collocation services provider.

 

Sileck, who has more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment and media industries, will serve as a member of the company’s audit committee and corporate governance and nominating committee. He is a member of the executive committee of the WWE and serves on the company’s board.

Sanmina-SCI Corp. named John P. Goldsberry to its board; he will also serve as chairman of the audit committee.

 

Goldsberry has more than 14 years experience as a CFO, and currently serves as SVP-IT of Gateway.
