New Board Members Named at Equifax, Owens Corning, Skilled Healthcare, More...

Equifax, a provider of employment and income verification and human resource outsourcing services, said this week that it has named Mark Templeton to its board.

Templeton, 55, is currently president, CEO, and a director of Citrix Systems, and his term on the Equifax board will expire at the 2010 annual shareholders meeting.

Owens Corning, a provider of building materials and glass-fiber reinforcements, last week named David J. Lyon to its board.

 

Lyon is a vice president of D.E. Shaw & Co., which owns more than 10 percent of Owen Corning’s outstanding stock, replaced Marc Sole, who recently stepped down as senior vice president of D.E. Shaw & Co. Lyon currently serves on the board of IMS Health and Director Insite Corporation.

Skilled Healthcare group this week named Bernard Puckett to its board.

 

Puckett joins the board as an independent director and as a member of the audit and compensation committees. He was previously chairman of Openware Systems, as well as senior vice president of strategy and business development for IBM. He was also president and CEO of IBM’s mainframe business.

Lata Krishnan was named to the board of SVB Financial Group, a financial services company for the technology, life science, private equity and premium wine industries.

 

Krishnan, CFO of Shah Capital Partners and president of the American India Foundation, is also a board member at the American India Foundation, American Foundation for Chess and the Commonwealth Club. She is a fellow of the American Leadership Forum and holds advisory board positions with CEO Women, Narika and the Global Philanthropy Forum.

W. Douglas Brown and Thomas L. Williams have been nominated to stand for election to the board of Chart Industries, which will take place at the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting on May 20.

 

Brown retired in 2007 as vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Air Products and Chemicals Inc., a $9 billion global supplier of industrials gases, performance materials and other services.
