<p><strong>Cigna </strong>CFO <strong>Ralph J. <p>Former <strong>McDonald&#8217;s USA </strong>President <strong>Janice L. The board recently announced Chazen will stay on through 2014 and former company CEOs will not be allowed to serve as chairmen. In addition, the board <a title="Link to press release" href="http://newsroom.oxy.com/news/oxy/20130503006178/en" target="_blank">elected</a> former Ambassador to Syria and Israel <strong>Edward P. Djerejian </strong>chairman. Djerejian is former chair of the company&#8217;s corporate governance, nominating, and social responsibility committee. He is the founding director of the <strong>James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University</strong>. “Ed’s depth of experience, judgment, and understanding of our business strategy make him the perfect choice to lead our board,&#8221; Chazen said in a statement.</p>
<p><strong>Service Corporation International</strong> (SCI) CEO <strong>Thomas L. Ryan</strong> is <a title="Link to press release" href="http://www.chk.com/News/Articles/Pages/1815189.aspx" target="_blank">joining</a> the <strong>Chesapeake Energy </strong>board of directors and its audit committee following the resignation of Director <strong>Louis A. Stewart</strong> </a>as president and CEO. He was also named to the company&#8217;s board of directors. Dr. Declan Doogan, who had been interim CEO, will continue as the company&#8217;s chief medical officer.</p>
<p><strong>Penson Worldwide, Inc.</strong> said that its co-founder <a href="http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9HLG2480.htm" target="_blank"><strong>Daniel P. Son </strong></a>plans to retire as president at the end of August. Son will continue his term on the company&#8217;s board of directors through the next annual shareholders&#8217; meeting in 2011 as non-executive vice chairman of the board. He has also signed a consulting agreement to provide advice on certain company matters through the end of 2012.</p>
<p>The CEO of <strong>FairPoint Communications</strong> will likely resign now that the bankrupt LEC’s secured creditors have asked him to do so. <strong><a href="http://www.billingworld.com/news/2010/08/fairpoint-ceo-david-hauser-asked-to-resign.aspx" target="_blank">David Hauser</a></strong>, who took over as head of FairPoint last year, said the creditor request isn’t unusual.</p>

Listwin is the former CEO of Openwave and a former executive vice president at Cisco.</p>
<p><strong>Chemical Financial</strong> announced that <a href="http://www.mlive.com/business/mid-michigan/index.ssf/2010/07/chemical_financial_corp_appoin_1.html" target="_blank"><strong>James R. Fitterling</strong></a>, senior vice president of corporate development at the Dow Chemical Company, has been appointed to its board. Fitterling was also appointed to the Governance and Nominating Committee and the Compensation and Pension Committee.</p>
<p><strong>Glowpoint</strong>, a provider of managed services for telepresence and video conferencing, announced that its board has named <a href="http://www.istockanalyst.com/article/viewiStockNews/articleid/4311126" target="_blank"><strong>Joe Laezza</strong></a> as sole CEO and president of the company, effective immediately.  In addition to previously serving as company president, Laezza served as Glowpoint&#8217;s co-CEO alongside David W. Robinson since March 2009. Robinson has since departed the company.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Xerox Corporation&#8217;s</strong> board of directors elected <strong><a href="http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/home/permalink/?ndmViewId=news_view&amp;newsId=20100716005083&amp;newsLang=en" target="_blank">Tom Maddison</a>, Hervé Tessler</strong> and <strong>Kevin Warren</strong> as vice presidents of the corporation. Maddison is vice president of Human  Resources, a position he was  appointed to in February. Tessler is president of Developing Market Operations, he was appointed to on July 1. Warren is president of the United States Solutions Group, leading the company’s direct sales force that markets and sells Xerox systems and services across the country, he was appointed on July 1.</p>
<p><strong>Ford</strong> announced that <a href="http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/07/16/ford-to-shuffle-top-management-in-europe/" target="_blank"><strong>Stephen Odell</strong></a> would leave his position as the chief executive of Volvo to take on that role at Ford Europe. Odell will replace <strong>John Fleming</strong>, who will go on to lead Ford’s global manufacturing and labor affairs operations.</p>
<p>The <strong>SEC</strong> announced that <a href="http://www.sec.gov/news/press/2010/2010-125.htm" target="_blank"><strong>Paula  Dubberly</strong></a> has been named to a new deputy director position in the division of corporation finance. Dubberly also will continue to lead the Division&#8217;s rulemaking  efforts through her oversight of the division&#8217;s rulemaking office.</p>
