Goldman Sachs Co-Presidents Gary Cohn and Jon Winkelriedearned upwards of more than $70 million each in total pay for fiscal 2007.
Cohn’s and Winkelried’s total pay – $72.5 million and $71.5million, respectively – included $600,000 each in annual salary, as well as$26.6 million each in bonuses, according to the company’s proxy statement it filed with theSecurities and Exchange Commission.
Cohn also received $354,196 in other compensation, andWinkelried was paid $232,370 in other compensation.
The company has said it has received a shareholder proposalseeking advisory votes on its executive-pay plans, and has recommended itsholders to reject the proposal.
