The Los Angeles Times has learned that International Lease Finance Corp. (ILFC) Chief Executive Henri Courpron “had his salary cut by $1 million and was demoted after an affair with an employee.” The 49-year-old will retain his position as CEO, but former Boeing Co. executive Laurette Koellner has been named to the newly created position of ILFC executive chairman. “In that role,” the Times states, “Koellner will be the most senior executive.” ILFC, a unit of American International Group Inc., ranks among the world’s largest aircraft leasing companies.
