The chief financial regulator of Massachusetts has issued a subpoena to Goldman Sachs, asking that the financial firm release information on its weekly trading meetings between analysts and traders, according to the Wall Street Journal. William Galvin, the Massachusetts secretary of the commonwealth, says that these meetings may disadvantage certain Goldman clients through excluding them from certain information. Documents released on Monday demonstrate that the information and opportunities discussed in the weekly meetings differs substantially from that given to Goldman’s other clients.
