WordStream elected Ralph J. Folz to its board. Folz is the global COO of Isobar, a digital marketing agency. Folz is also co-founder of Molecular, a marketing firm that designs and builds sophisticated Internet-based solutions.
Marsha Fanucci joined Ironwood’s board. Fanucci served in a number of senior positions at Millenium Pharmaceuticals from 2009 to 2009, including CFO and senior vice president.
Debt Resolve elected James Brakke to its board. Brakke is currently a director and executive vice president of Dealer Protection Group, a company that provides insurance services to the automotive industry. Brakke previously served as director of Commercial Capital BanCorp.
Qualsec appointed Richard F. Seelig to its board. Seelig is a physician executive with 25 years of clinical experience followed by six years of medical device and informatics design and development.
Legg Mason elected Nelson Peltz to its board. Peltz also serves as a director of H.J. Heinz Company and as non-executive chairman of the board of Wendy’s/Arby’s Group. He also serves as chairman of Trian Acquistions I.
Biolase named Gregory D. Waller to its board. Waller served 25 years with Sybron Dental Specialities, a manufacturer of high technology dental, dental implants, and infection prevention products.
BMP Sunstone appointed Daniel P. Harrington to its board. Harrington has served as president and CEO of HTV Industries, a diversified holding company with interests in manufacturing, distribution, and banking.
Cibus Global, a plant trait development company, appointed Peter B. Corr, co-founder and general partner of Celtic Therapeutics Management and former senior vice president of science and technology at Pfizer, to its board. Jean-Pierre Lehmann, an international businessman who has spent more than 20 years overseeing private company investments, was also elected to the company’s board.
James Huger and Grant Lyon were both elected to Vitesse’s board. Hugar recently retired from Deloitte & Touche, were he was the partner-in-charge of the Southern California investment company and broker/dealer practice. Lyon is president of Odyssey Capital Group and previously served as interim CFO of Hypercom. He also served as managing director at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance.
