Wal-Mart Stores has named Scott Price executive vice president, president, and chief executive of Walmart Asia, effective Oct. 15, according to the Associated Press. Price replaces Vicente Trius who has been named CEO of Wal-Mart’s Latin America segment. Price most recently served as CEO of DHL Express Europe. He also served as CEO of DHL Express Asia Pacific and worked for 10 years at Coca-Cola. Price will assume responsibility for operations in Asia, which include China, India, and Japan.
