Rep. Frank: ‘Death Panels’ for non-Banks

Representative Barney Frank (D-MA) vows that “death panels” for banks will be enacted by Congress.

“There will be death panels enacted by this Congress, but they will be for non-bank financial institutions that will not be considered too big to die,” said House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA). The comment came during a hearing with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, where he supported Democratic efforts to “narrow the scope of a new consumer protection agency.” Click here to watch a clip from the Associated Press.
