The President of the Richmond arm of the Federal Reserve Bank says that the economy appears to have at last stabilized and that inflation will more likely rise than fall, according to Reuters. “Conditions remain distressed in many industries and localities,” said Jeffrey Lacker. “Yet the economy appears to have leveled out and I believe we can look forward to better times ahead.”
