Cisco CEO replacement plan for John Chambers becomes more evident

Cisco Systems CEO John Chambers identified some senior executives being considered for his position upon his retirement.

According to 24/7 Wall St., Cisco Systems CEO John Chambers on Tuesday identified some of the senior executives at the company that he and the board of directors are considering to succeed him when he retires, which may be within two to four years. Reports are there are as many as 10 candidates, including: Robert Lloyd, executive vice president of worldwide operations; Edzard Overbeek, senior vice president of global services; and Chuck Robbins, senior vice president of the Americas. The 63-year-old Chambers has been chief executive since 1995.
